The Surbiton Club is a friendly and relaxed members social club, situated in the heart of Surbiton. We have approximately 350 members of all age ranges.

We welcome new members over the age of 18. If you are interested in becoming a member or would like to visit the club with a view to becoming a member, please e-mail surbitonclub.info@gmail.com, or drop into the club and speak to the bar staff.

Our bar prices are very competitive and we stock a wide range of real ales, lagers, wines and spirits. You will always find a warm welcome from our dedicated team of bar staff.

During the 1850s a relatively small group of local businessmen came together to set up a social club. Initially they met in local establishments until the purchase of land was complete and the building constructed. The Surbiton Club in St James Road opened in 1899.

Early records show that the club functioned as a male only establishment, graced by the presence of ladies on special occasions.

Thankfully, all members regardless of race or gender are now made welcome. The Surbiton Club is non-political, and has no affiliation with any other organisation.
